Mercy is a lady who works as a toilet attendant in a nightclub in Yorkshire. She’s a single mother of two and lives in a deprived area in Leeds. Not only is she a mother to her two children, but also to the girls who come to see her in the Ladiesroom. The girls find comfort and good advice. Mercy has her ‘regular customers’ who always make time to go up and give her a big hug. Later at night the girls are so drunk that they even need care; they balance on their high heels, their clothes need to be straightened by Mercy and when they feel sick she is always there for them. A night like this is very hectic. When Mercy finishes her shift, she doesn’t get a chance to have a rest, as her children wake up and it’s the start of her new day as a single parent.
